RULES OF PLAY - TOURNAMENT: St. Patrick's Day
ALL GAME 7 V 7 FOR ST. PATRICKS DAY TOURNAMENT
(3 GAMES MINIMUM, 5 GAMES MAXIMUM)
USSF Outdoor Governing Rules Applies
1. Length of Games: Running Clock
Games are 27 minutes in length. No half time.
Play shall be extended at the end of any period to allow a penalty
kick to be taken or re-taken. In such situation, the kick is
considered completed when the ball energy is spent where any
rebounds (from the ground, goalkeeper, crossbar or goal posts) will
not be considered playable
In the case of an injury that delays play, the referee will indicate
the game time if there is a time change. The clock MAY be stopped
for serious injury only.
2. Team Playing:
Teams may choose either bench.
The Home team (listed first) must change to their alternate jersey
if there is a conflict of color.
3. No of Players (7 v 7)
The maximum number of players on the field shall be 7.
All Players must have a player card from their state organization.
If player does not have an IYSA/IWSL player card the respective
coach will be liable for any injury to their respective player not
listed on their roster.
4. Other Matters
For matters not specifically covered by these rules, FIFA Laws
Of The
Game shall be followed when reasonably applicable.
5. Eligibility:
Players must sign a CIS Soccer roster waiver to play in this league
and to be eligible to be on the field or bench.
Out of state teams will need a travel permit to participate.
Players rostered on one team may not play on a roster for another
team that they are registered for.
6. Substitution Procedure
Substitutions are on the fly and may occur on an unlimited
basis. Both players must be within the touchline and no more than a
yard from their bench area when the substitution is made. When both
players are on the field neither player may touch the ball.
Infringement of this procedure may incur warning (Yellow Card) from
the official.
7. Referee and other Officials
The Referee(s) shall be responsible for control of the game. The
referee’s decisions regarding control are FINAL. Timekeepers operate
the time and scoreboard details, if available, under the Referee’s
jurisdiction.

Tie Breaker
In the event where Teams are tied in the standings after
preliminary round, the following will be used to determine placing.
- Head to Head
- Fewest Goals Allowed
- Total Goals Scored (Max 6 per game)
- Most Wins to Tie Game
- Shootout.
Championship
* U16 Girls and U17/18 Boys division Champion will be the team that
has the highest team points based on completion of all 4 games. If
points are tied, Tie Breaker rules applies as per above.
Shootout – only remaining players that are playing when games end
can participate in Shootout
Fouls and Misconduct
RED card results in ejection of player or coach.
All RED carded assessed will carry the following fines:
- Player for each incident - $70
- Coach for each incident - $200
In addition to the above fines, they will also serve a one game
suspension. All RED card fines must be paid prior to the beginning
of the next game else the player or coach will NOT be allowed to
play or coach.
CIS reserves the right to expel anyone who uses vulgar language
in a harming manner. This includes racial, ethnic, or religious
comments. This behavior is intolerable and could result in permanent
expulsion from the LBFH Soccer facility.
CIS also reserves the right to expel a player, parent or Coach
from league play for gross violations of the laws of the game, the
House, Rules, or damage to LBFH Soccer property.
